Work Search Roundtables

These sessions make them the longest, continuously meeting job clubs in West Michigan–10,000+ people have attended sessions since 1998–at two locations on different days of the week.  The sessions are open to the public and provide ongoing networking, support, group problem solving, and coaching for individuals during periods of work search and career transition.

Several TV and radio stations as well as The Grand Rapids Press reported on this weekly event during the past decade, including a feature report on WOOD-TV 8 in 2009.

The EaRN ministry continues to expand, “helping people find work and stay employable by discovering their calling”. We look for churches and other non-profits interested in learning how to develop, launch and facilitate EaRN ministry which can include a Work Search Roundtable job club and/or a NetWork 2 NewWork event (www.nw2nw.org) as part of building an EaRN Employment and Resource Network ministry.  More information about EaRN can be found at www.earn-network.org, or contact Ken (616) 528-0443, ksoper (at) earn-network.org.
