Work Search Roundtables & NetWork 2 NewWork

EaRN Work Search Roundtables

…working together to help each other find work, operationalizing Matthew 7:12

These sessions make them the longest, continuously meeting job clubs in West Michigan–12,000+ people have attended 1100+ sessions since 1998–at two locations on Wednesdays.  The sessions are open to the public and provide ongoing networking, support, group problem solving, and coaching for individuals during periods of work search and career transition. Currently one session every other Wednesday is conducted via web conferencing to expand and improve the ease with which one can participate.

Several TV and radio stations as well as The Grand Rapids Press reported on this weekly event during the past decades, including a feature report on WOOD-TV 8 in 2009, as well as a commendation for the service by the White House’s Center for Faith-based and Neighborhood Partnerships Deputy Director in March 2012 at their West Michigan Job Clubs Initiative Symposium held at Redeemer Covenant Church, Gaines Township, Greater Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Hosted WEDNESDAY every week, 9:30-11:30 am by facilitators based at two alternating locations during the Coronavirus pandemic:
